Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors for a marketing education platform. You will design and implement scalable ingestion pipelines, connect enterprise sources, and ensure secure, reliable data flows to support Looker Studio dashboards and reports.

This remote LATAM role offers a contractor-style engagement with USD payments, 100% remote collaboration, and access to learning resources.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, data engineering, or platform engineering.
• Strong Python and/or Go development experience.
• Proven SQL/NoSQL data modeling and BigQuery experience.
• Hands-on experience with dbt or Dataform.
• Experience building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience working with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with REST APIs and containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication for customer-facing engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, network infrastructure, endpoints, applications, security platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand environments and constraints.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage and analysis.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot deployments across API, infra, data layers.
• Collaborate with architects, sales, customer success, product and engineering.
• Translate customer requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Support production adoption and improve time-to-value.
• Occasionally engage in customer-facing sessions and onsite when needed.
