Chevron Global Business Services (GBS), based in Buenos Aires, is seeking a Data Engineer to design, deploy and maintain automated data transformation pipelines that combine Azure/Databricks and related technologies to support data architecture.

You will work in the IT Organization, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to ingest, cleanse, and prepare data, enable analytics, and deploy scalable data products while following best practices and security standards.

Competenze

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data movement and transformation, cloud data platforms and big data architectures including Azure ecosystem.

• Leverage data engineering, data science, and analytics to enable data access and preparation.
• Identify, acquire, cleanse, and prepare data; develop data products aligned with architecture.
• Normalize and ingest data from multiple sources.

• Collaborate with ML engineers to scale and deploy data solutions and document processes.
