Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, connectors, and integrations to bridge enterprise customers and engineering. You’ll design scalable ingestion pipelines and collaborate across security, cloud, and data domains.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data/platform engineering experience.
• Strong software development with Python and Go.
• Experience designing REST APIs and data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• CI/CD practices and Git workflows.
• Ability to work directly with customers and translate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, and APIs.
• Participate in onboarding from discovery to production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for security events, logs, and telemetry.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services with Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases to store and analyze high-volume data.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot deployments across app, infra, network, API, and data layers.
• Optimize ingestion performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Eng, Customer Success, Product, and Eng teams.
• Act as trusted advisor on data architecture and ingestion best practices.
• Translate customer requirements into reusable connectors and platform capabilities.
• Contribute insights to the product roadmap and improve time-to-value for customers.
• Participate in occasional customer sessions and onsite engagements.
