Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to bridge enterprise customers and the engineering team. This role is remote and LATAM-focused.

You will design and evolve connectors, ingestion pipelines, and backend services using Python and Go, while collaborating with customers to understand data sources and security requirements. Join a security-focused project building an Identity Security and Cybersecurity Platform and help scale ingestion

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software/data engineering or related fields with focus on data ingestion.
• Strong Python/Go development and REST API design/consumption.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases and cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on Docker/Kubernetes; CI/CD and customer-facing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including IdPs, cloud platforms, SIEMs, and networks.
• Work directly with customers to understand environments, data flows, and APIs.
• Onboard customers through architecture design to production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go; work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes; deploy across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Troubleshoot deployments, optimize ingestion performance, and collaborate cross-functionally.
