Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on Data Ingestion, Integrations, and Collectors for a 100% remote role in LATAM. You will design scalable ingestion pipelines, work with Python/Go, and collaborate with customers to architect reliable data integrations across cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of software/data engineering experience, strong SQL/NoSQL skills, and hands-on familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Go.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Git workflows.
• Ability to work directly with customers and translate requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources, including identity providers, cloud platforms, and security systems.
• Engage with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and constraints.
• Participate in onboarding through discovery, architecture design, and production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for processing large data volumes like events, logs, and telemetry.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services primarily with Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP; troubleshoot deployments.
