Qualifications

• University degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Natural Resources, Geological Sciences or Biological Sciences.
• Professional registration in the corresponding jurisdiction.
• 5–10 years of environmental management experience and permits, depending on level.
• Desirable graduate degree in environmental management/law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the project permits matrix with deadlines and required documentation.
• Submit Environmental Impact Report and updates to mining authorities.
• Manage environmental permits: water use, effluent, emissions, hazardous waste, soil movement.
• Coordinate regulatory compliance and liaise with authorities and project management.
