Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Python/Go) focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors for a remote LATAM engagement. You will bridge customers and engineering, designing scalable ingestion pipelines and connectors across cloud environments.

You will work with identity security platforms, SIEM systems, and data sources in cloud, network, and on-prem environments, delivering reliable, scalable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/ Data/Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development skills.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines, connectors, or integration platforms.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production cloud experience on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; familiarity with CI/CD.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Ingest data from identity providers, cloud platforms, network infra, endpoints, and SIEM systems.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, and security requirements.
• Lead onboarding through architecture design to production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for security events, logs, and telemetry.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases to store and analyze high-volume data.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot deployments across API, infra, network, and data layers.
• Improve ingestion performance, reliability, and time-to-value for customers.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Eng, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
• Represent best practices for data collection, security integrations, and scalable architecture.
• Propose reusable connectors and platform capabilities based on customer needs.
