Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and connectors for a next-generation Identity Security / Cybersecurity Platform. You will bridge enterprise customers and engineering, designing scalable ingestion pipelines while ensuring security and reliability across cloud environments.

You will work with Python and Go, build data connectors, and collaborate with customer teams to deliver production-ready solutions in a remote LATAM setup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software or data engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development skills.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, and integration constraints.
• Onboard customers from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services in Python and Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage and analysis.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployments across API, network, and data layers.
• Optimize ingestion performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Sales Eng, Customer Success, Product, and Eng teams.
• Provide guidance on data architecture and security integrations.
• Turn recurring requirements into reusable connectors and features.
• Contribute to product roadmap with real-world insights.
• Support production adoption and time-to-value for customers.
• Participate in occasional customer-facing technical sessions and onsite work.
