Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in computer science, MIS, or computer engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Data Engineer role.
• Experience with data ingestion, preparation and validation; data movement and transformation; analytics solution architecture; big data computing; cloud computing; core data architecture; information security technologies.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, DevOps, CI/CD, Python, Java, Ansible, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Git, ADO, Azure Data Lake, Azure Analysis Services, Logic Apps, Microsoft Data Flows, and Kimball data warehousing methodology.

Responsibilities

• Understand business use of data and stakeholder requirements to support work processes and strategic goals.
• Leverage data engineering and data science techniques to create data products and enable analytics.
• Ingest, cleanse, store, and prepare data from multiple sources to support architecture patterns.
• Normalize and ingest data across sources and enable data scientists with accessible datasets.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to scale and deploy models and data products.
• Contribute to development of foundational tools and deployment of services.
