Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Data Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on IBM DB2 (LUW and/or DB2 for i) — mandatory.
• Experience extracting and integrating data from legacy DB2 environments.
• Strong programming in Python and/or Java.
• Advanced SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting production ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) for technical collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain batch and event-driven data pipelines.
• Optimize IBM DB2 queries, stored procedures, indexes, and data extraction processes.
• Build integrations between DB2, enterprise applications, ERP systems, and AWS cloud services.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes, data validation, reconciliation, and quality controls.
• Monitor production pipelines, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure data reliability.
• Design scalable data architectures and support legacy-to-cloud modernization.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and operations teams.
