Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires is hiring a Data Engineer to develop and maintain automated data transformation pipelines using diverse storage and compute technologies. The role supports data architecture design and enterprise data services.

The candidate will work with data ingestion, preparation, analytics processing, and data products, enabling data scientists with scalable data access and ML deployment support.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• 5+ years in Data Engineer role or equivalent.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data ingestion, and data processing pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure a plus).

Responsabilités

• Understand business data needs and stakeholder requirements.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines and data products.
• Ingest, cleanse, and prepare data from multiple sources for analytics.
• Enable data scientists with accessible data and scale ML deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps and ML engineers to deploy solutions.
