Job summary
Chevron Global Business Services in Buenos Aires is seeking a Data Engineer with strong Databricks and GCP experience to develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and productionize agentic workflows for data engineering automation.
You will design and implement data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and BigQuery, integrating Delta Lake and modern data lake architectures. Collaborate with IT to deliver robust data solutions.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- +5 years in Data Engineer role.
- Experience with data acquisition, preparation and validation; data movement and transformation; analytics solution architecture; big data computing; cloud computing; core data architecture.
Responsibilities
- Understand business use of data and stakeholder requirements to support work processes and strategic business objectives.
- Leverage data engineering techniques to create value through data accessibility, including ingestion, preparation and analytics processing.
- Build data products aligned with defined architecture patterns and implement data quality checks and production controls.
