Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires is seeking a Data Engineer with strong Databricks and GCP experience. You will develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, productionize agentic workflows, and integrate Databricks, GCP, BigQuery, and Delta Lake environments to support data architecture.

Requirements include a BS in a related field and 5+ years in a Data Engineer role, with expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and quality.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years in Data Engineer role.
Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipeline design, performance optimization, and data quality.
Experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, GCP (BigQuery), Delta Lake.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.
Build and operationalize agentic workflows to automate data engineering and operational processes.
Integrate Databricks, GCP, BigQuery, and Delta Lake environments.
Develop data pipelines and processing solutions to support new business requirements.
Build reusable data engineering frameworks and components.
Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and production controls.
Troubleshoot complex data and production issues and provide sustainable solutions.
Collaborate with business, data engineering, and platform teams to identify automation opportunities.
