Job summary

Chevron Global Business Services in Buenos Aires is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain automated data pipelines, enabling scalable data products and analytics across the organization. You will work with Snowflake, DBT, Python, Airflow, and a broad cloud stack to support data architecture design.

The role requires 4+ years in data engineering, strong SQL and data modeling, and experience with cloud-based data solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent in CS, MIS, or CE.
• 5+ years in Data Engineer role.
• Experience with ETL, data movement, and analytics architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure), Snowflake, DBT and BI tooling.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand business data use and stakeholder needs to support processes.
• Leverage data, software engineering, and data science techniques to enable data accessibility.
• Ingest, cleanse, prepare, and store data; develop data products.
• Normalize and ingest data from multiple sources.
• Enable data scientists with data and models; scale ML deployments.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy solutions in cloud environments.
• Contribute to internal tooling and deployment of services.
