Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Buenos Aires is hiring a Sr. Data Engineer to own the data platform foundation for Disney Financial Insights.

You will build and maintain ELT pipelines ingesting SAP, EPM, GL data into Snowflake, define dbt models and semantic layer, and ensure data is reliable for autonomous finance workflows. You'll implement quality checks, manage CDC, and keep the org hierarchy in sync as the business evolves.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience building production ELT pipelines.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience building a semantic layer or certified metrics framework.
• Strong data quality instincts and real-time data considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own the data foundation and ELT pipelines from SAP/EPM/GL to Snowflake.
• Own semantic layer and certified metrics definitions.
• Maintain data quality checks and CDC for near-real-time data freshness.
• Manage org hierarchy sync to keep metadata current as the organization evolves.
• Design for low-latency, high-reliability data access for agentic workflows.
