Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is building an AI-enabled financial data platform (D-Fi). We are hiring the founding engineering team to own the integration and systems connectivity layer, connecting Disney's ERP/EPM landscape (SAP, Cognos, Coupa) to data warehouses and notification channels.

Qualifications

• 6-7+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in enterprise systems integration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus but not required given equivalent experience.
• Advanced level of English (must).
• Demonstrated experience integrating with ERP/EPM platforms (SAP, Oracle EPM/Cognos, or similar) in a production environment.
• Strong track record designing reliable, auditable middleware.
• Comfort designing for failure: retries, reconciliation, and error handling.
• Background in finance, ERP, or enterprise systems integration is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own integration and systems connectivity. Build and maintain API integrations against SAP, EPM, procurement systems, and internal APIs.
• Own the EPM write-back integration. Close the approval workflow loop so approved forecast changes reflect in the system of record.
• Own notification and alerting integrations. Build and maintain integrations with Teams and email.
• Design for reliability and auditability. Create traceable records of data movement and timing.
• Own error handling for cross-system workflows with retries and reconciliation strategies.
