Walmart is seeking a Senior Data Assurance Engineer to lead data integrity, security, and compliance within the company's data protection framework. This role focuses on DLP operations, risk assessments, incident response guidance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to strengthen information assurance practices.

You will mentor team members, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring safeguarding of sensitive information and alignment

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area and 3 years’ experience in data assurance at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
• 5 years’ experience in data assurance at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality assurance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) event data.
• Guide and mentor team members on DLP operations, policies, and investigative tools.
• Identify and analyze data leak incidents, recommending policy updates and tool enhancements.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures related to data security and incident response.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess cyber risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support coding, testing, and deployment of security solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Document processes, oversee projects, and assist with monthly reporting for the team.
