Job summary

Truelogic seeks a Senior Data Architect to own design, modeling, ingestion, and optimization of a large Snowflake/dbt platform. This role turns raw S3/event data into core tables and data marts for analytics and data science.

The ideal candidate solves complex SQL problems, engineers billion-row incrementals, and ensures data correctness, performance, governance, and cost across production environments at scale. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Analytics Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building production solutions with Snowflake.
• Expert-level SQL skills and ability to solve complex modeling, performance, and data-correctness problems.
• Advanced data-modeling experience, including dimensional modeling and data marts.
• Advanced dbt experience with incremental strategies, snapshots, macros, testing, and billion-row datasets.
• Experience with behavioral/event data, sessionization, identity resolution, late-arriving data, duplicates.
• Deep Snowflake expertise covering RBAC, Snowpipe, stages, COPY INTO, and cost management.
• Working knowledge of AWS services: S3, IAM, SNS, SQS.
• Experience designing event-driven data integrations and formats like Parquet.
• Ability to read and review Python code.
• Proven ability to move complex data problems to production with minimal direction.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to explain architectural decisions and trade-offs to engineers and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable core tables transforming raw event data into reliable datasets.
• Engineer incremental dbt models for billion-row tables with merging and clustering.
• Implement identity-resolution for merged identities and late-arriving data.
• Design fact and dimension marts and define datasets for BI developers and data scientists.
• Solve complex SQL challenges including performance and window functions.
• Ingest data from S3 into Snowflake using Snowpipe, stages, and COPY INTO.
• Collaborate with software engineers on event-driven delivery patterns and data contracts.
• Administer Snowflake environments: RBAC, security, integrations, warehouses.
• Monitor pipeline stability, data freshness, and duplicate files.
• Optimize Snowflake/dbt performance and cost through clustering and scheduling.
• Establish data-modeling and dbt standards; review code with engineers.
