Job summary

Compass International Holdings in Argentina/Uruguay/Mexico is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer (contractor through Deel) to build and evolve a Kubernetes-based compute platform across multi-cloud environments.

This hands-on role focuses on platform engineering, automation, and cloud-native infrastructure, collaborating with senior engineers to scale and optimize our compute platform using IaC and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Go or Python.
• Experience provisioning cloud compute resources and Kubernetes.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to build, scale, deploy and maintain our Kubernetes compute platform using IaC.
• Help build a scalable, reliable Kubernetes platform on AWS EKS to power containerized workloads across teams.
• Use monitoring and observability tools to ensure system health and troubleshoot production incidents.
• Automate manual processes using Go or Python.
• Contribute to documentation for infrastructure designs and operational procedures.
