Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, operate, and improve a cloud deployment platform supporting a high-scale cybersecurity product. You will work with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools, partnering with software, QA, security, and IT teams.

You’ll drive platform engineering, platform reliability, and cloud cost optimization while delivering secure, scalable infrastructure. This is a remote LATAM role with contractor engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in CS, Eng or related field.
• 5+ years in DevOps/Platform/SRE roles.
• Hands-on prod experience with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Strong CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Proficiency in Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and IaC.
• Linux administration and networking expertise.
• Scripting in Python and Bash.
• Experience with observability (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Security-minded, with cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain Terraform IaC and automation.
• Manage Kubernetes workloads on EKS and containerized apps.
• Build reliable CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI.
• Improve observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch/ELK.
• Collaborate with security, QA, and software teams to ensure reliability.
• Contribute to platform engineering and release automation.
