Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, operate, and improve its cloud platform for a high-scale cybersecurity product. You’ll work with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD, partnering with Software Engineering, QA, Security, and IT teams.

You’ll build IaC, automate provisioning, release across web/mobile/desktop, and enhance observability, security, and cost efficiency. This is a 100% remote LATAM contractor role with USD payments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools at scale in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in test-driven deployment methodologies and automated test suites for integration and end-to-end validation.
• Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker, including image creation, registry management, and orchestration basics.
• In-depth knowledge of CMake build systems with experience optimizing native build and deployment pipelines.
• Advanced Linux administration and networking skills, shell scripting, package management, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop IaC using Terraform and manage Kubernetes (EKS) deployments.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI; automate release processes.
• Automate OS and infra configuration using Ansible; write Python/Bash automation scripts.
• Improve observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch; implement security controls.
