Nortal is seeking a Senior BI Consultant to join our remote LATAM team. You will own BI solutions from requirements to delivery, leveraging Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Fabric to turn complex data into actionable insights.

You’ll work with stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to design scalable data models and dashboards while maintaining high quality and performance. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in BI/Data Analytics, strong DAX and semantic modeling skills, and experience with

• 7+ years of professional experience in BI, data analytics, or data warehousing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including advanced DAX and semantic models.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.
• Knowledge of BI architectures and data-to-insight lifecycle.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement end-to-end BI solutions based on business and analytical requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand KPIs, processes, and reporting needs.
• Translate requirements into data models, analytical solutions, and visualizations.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
• Build scalable data models using dimensional modeling and best practices.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and data transformations.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes for multiple sources.
• Work with Microsoft Fabric components such as Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, pipelines, notebooks, and semantic models.
• Contribute to Medallion Architecture implementations and ensure data quality and performance.
• Analyze existing BI solutions and identify optimization opportunities.
• Define KPIs, metrics, and management reporting solutions.
• Troubleshoot data, reporting, and performance issues across BI stack.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Developers, and business teams.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior BI professionals.
