TechGenies is seeking a senior Power BI Developer / Analyst to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights. The role emphasizes Power BI development, data modeling, dashboard creation, report optimization, and visualization.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, Tableau, and Snowflake, and be able to work with large datasets.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Power BI development, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics
• Advanced hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and Snowflake
• Experience with Tableau and other visualization/reporting tools
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, R, SPSS, STATA, or similar is a plus
• Solid understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and visualization principles
• Project management or experience coordinating BI/reporting initiatives with multiple stakeholders is preferred

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions to transform complex data into actionable insights
• Create dashboards, model data, optimize reports, and visualize results
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements
• Translate requirements into scalable BI solutions and continuously improve dashboards and reporting processes
• Communicate data insights clearly with stakeholders
• Travel to Tampa as required (two weeks every other month)
• Support EST alignment and data-driven decision making

The ideal candidate is a senior-level professional with strong hands‑on experience in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, Tableau, and Snowflake, with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.

This role will partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements, translate them into scalable BI solutions, and continuously improve dashboards and reporting processes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate data insights clearly are essential.

The role reports directly to the Manager or Sr. Manager of Business Analytics and requires availability to travel to Tampa.

Education and Experience

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in Business Intelligence, Power BI Development, or Data Analytics (5+ years preferred)
  
• Advanced hands‑on experience with Power BI
  
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard development
  
• Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating data
  
• Experience working with Snowflake as a data source/data warehouse
  
• Experience with Tableau
  
• Ability to design, develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports
  
• Experience working with large and complex datasets
  
• Understanding of data relationships, data quality, performance optimization, and reporting best practices
  
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical BI solutions and meaningful insights
  
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and presenting analytical findings
  
• Availability to travel to Tampa for two weeks every other month
  
• Valid passport/visa and required travel documentation
  
• Ability to work aligned with EST
  
• Candidates based in Latin America are strongly preferred due to time zone alignment and travel requirements
