The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, an extension of the Ritz-Carlton brand, seeks a Senior BI Developer to design, build, and maintain SQL-based analytics and reporting solutions that inform strategic and operational decisions across the Enterprise.

You will help shape how AI and machine learning capabilities are integrated into our data ecosystem, serving as a bridge between business stakeholders and our modern data platform, translating complex requirements into reliable data products.

Formación

• 8–10+ years of SQL development experience.
• Experience with Snowflake/SQL Server/Oracle.
• Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense or SIGMA.
• Strong SQL with CTEs and window functions.
• Experience designing star/snowflake schemas.
• Familiar with AI/ML concepts and Cortex AI.
• Knowledge of ETL and data quality.
• Able to translate requirements into specs.

Position Summary

As a seasoned Senior BI Developer to design, build, and maintain SQL-based analytics and reporting solutions that directly inform strategic and operational decisions across the Enterprise. You will also help shape how AI and machine learning capabilities are integrated into our data ecosystem, from predictive analytics to intelligent automation. You will serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders and our modern data platform, translating complex requirements into reliable, high-quality data products.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with business users to gather, understand, and document data and reporting requirements.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, self-service reporting solutions using BI platforms (e.g., SIGMA, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
• Design dashboards, KPI scorecards, and ad hoc analytical reports that deliver actionable insights to decision-makers.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all reporting products.
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL-based queries, views, and stored procedures to support BI tools.
• Identify and implement opportunities to augment BI solutions with AI and machine learning including predictive models, forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language interfaces.
• Integrate large language model (LLM) capabilities and generative AI tools into analytics workflows where appropriate (e.g., AI-assisted report generation, intelligent data summarization).
• Partner with stakeholders to define and prioritize AI use cases that deliver measurable business value.
• Evaluate and recommend AI/ML tooling, frameworks, and platforms that complement the existing data stack.
• Translate requirements into robust data models and efficient transformations across data layers.
• Ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of operational and analytical reports.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, and data engineers to ensure timely data delivery.
• Document data definitions, processes, and technical logic in support of governance initiatives.
• Participate in UAT and feedback cycles with business stakeholders.
• Maintain and troubleshoot legacy SQL logic and ETL processes.

Required Technical Skills

• 8–10+ years of experience in SQL development and relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Expertise in BI/reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, SIGMA, etc.).
• Strong command of complex SQL queries, CTEs, window functions and performance optimization.
• Experience designing star/snowflake schemas and normalized data models.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML concepts and tools, including Cortex AI.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data quality principles.
• Ability to write technical specifications and business-friendly descriptions.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science or related field.
