The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is seeking a Senior ETL Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade ETL solutions. You will architect pipelines using SSIS and Matillion for Snowflake, build complex SQL, and ensure data integrity across cloud and on-premises environments.

Lead data modeling, orchestration, and governance while collaborating with data architects, BI teams, and analysts to translate requirements into scalable ETL solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS and Matillion for ingestion, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, CTEs, and window functions to support data transformations.
• Convert legacy SSIS workflows into Matillion jobs and optimize for cloud-native execution.
• Design and implement dimensional data models (Star/Snowflake schemas), data marts, and curated datasets.
• Support near real-time and batch data processing pipelines.
• Tune SQL queries and ETL processes for maximum throughput and cost efficiency in Snowflake.
• Implement error handling, auditing, logging, and monitoring frameworks for ETL jobs.
• Work closely with data architects, BI developers, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical ETL solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, flat files, and cloud data lakes.
• Implement data profiling, validation rules, and reconciliation checks.
• Enforce data governance, metadata management, and lineage best practices.
• Develop solutions leveraging Snowflake features (e.g., streams, tasks, time travel, clustering, micro-partitioning).
• Orchestrate ETL workflows with scheduling tools (e.g., Matillion Scheduler, Control-M, Airflow).
• Proactively monitor data quality across all ETL pipelines to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Troubleshoot production ETL and data pipeline issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.
• Investigate data anomalies and inconsistencies by tracing through source systems and target databases.
• Collaborate with source system owners to resolve upstream data quality issues, ensuring clean and reliable data ingestion.
• Drive issue resolution end-to-end, whether problems originate in source systems, integration layers, or the target Snowflake database.
• Implement continuous monitoring and alerting frameworks for early detection of failures or data discrepancies.

Job Summary

Senior ETL Developer with deep technical expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade ETL solutions. This role requires strong proficiency in SQL Server, SSIS, Matillion, and Snowflake, with the ability to engineer scalable, high-performance data pipelines and ensure data integrity across cloud and on-premises environments.

Required Technical Skills

• 8–10+ years of hands-on ETL development with SSIS and Matillion (Informatica/Talend experience a plus).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL Server and Snowflake SQL, with deep knowledge of query tuning and execution plans.
• Strong experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning, optimization, and cost governance.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell for workflow automation.
• In-depth knowledge of dimensional modeling, SCD handling (Type 1/2), CDC, and data vault concepts.
• Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps pipelines for ETL deployments, Python.
• Experience with job orchestration tools such as Matillion Scheduler, SQL Agent, Airflow, or Control-M.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Cognos.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Snowflake or Matillion certification.
• Experience with cloud ETL frameworks (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
• Familiarity with data governance tools (Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Alation).
• Prior experience in Travel, Cruise Line, or Hospitality industry.
