Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports, turning large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams. The role requires strong SQL and Tableau skills, Python, and hands‑on experience with AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor.

You will work with Excel/Sheets, data warehousing concepts, and collaborative tools in a fast‑paced, remote‑friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL development experience.
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience.
• Prior hands‑on Python development experience.
• Experience with AI coding tools Claude Code or Cursor.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Spreadsheets for ad‑hoc analysis.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts.
• Ability to maintain and validate existing data models and calculations.
• Experience with remote collaboration tools (GitHub, Slack, JIRA).

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that support business decision‑making.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Identify and validate data sources to ensure the accuracy and reliability of insights.
• Interact directly with customers to gather requirements and deliver strong customer service.
• Contribute to improving data processes, tools, and documentation.
• Autonomously navigate ambiguity, set strategy and priorities, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and narratives for senior leaders and product teams, with a focus on business and customer impact.
• Communicate complex data insights clearly to varied audiences.
• Operate in a self‑guided, strategic manner, determining the most efficient and effective next steps for project and team success.
• Bring an operational mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
• Take full ownership and persevere through every challenge with consistent energy, regardless of complexity.
• Maintain a deep sense of quality and attention to detail.
