Scale Up Recruiting Partners is assisting a fast-growing AI startup in search of a Senior Backend Engineer. You will own the backend infrastructure, data layer, and integrations, leveraging TypeScript and AI-assisted development to improve software delivery.

• Strong backend experience using TypeScript in production systems.
• Proven experience with Node.js and async job queues/distributed processing.
• Ability to design scalable backend architectures and data models.
• Experience integrating multiple third-party APIs and handling undocumented APIs.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services using TypeScript.
• Own and improve the platform's data layer and backend runtime.
• Design efficient database schemas and optimize performance.
• Build and maintain integrations with multiple third-party APIs.
• Create adapter layers to normalize external data structures.
• Debug complex asynchronous systems and distributed workflows.
• Improve observability, monitoring and platform reliability.
• Collaborate with founders to implement AI-powered workflows across engineering.
• Adopt new AI development tools to boost engineering productivity.
