Scale Up Recruiting Partners is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer in Argentina to design and maintain scalable backend services powered by TypeScript. You will own the data layer, runtimes, and asynchronous processing while integrating multiple third‑party APIs and AI tooling to accelerate development.

You will work with a lean startup, collaborating closely with founders to implement AI‑driven workflows, improve reliability, and adopt new tools to boost engineering productivity.

Formación

• Strong backend experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js.
• Experience with asynchronous queues and distributed processing.
• Experience designing scalable backends and data models.
• Comfortable with large TypeScript codebases.
• Experience building multiple third-party integrations.
• Ability to handle inconsistent external APIs and build resilient layers.
• Strong debugging across asynchronous systems.
• Understanding of browser automation/fingerprinting concepts.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Hands-on with AI tools (Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor).
• Excellent English communication.
• Ability to work independently.

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services using TypeScript.
• Own and improve the platform's data layer and backend runtime.
• Design efficient database schemas and optimize performance.
• Build, maintain and improve third‑party integrations.
• Create adapter layers for inconsistent external data.
• Debug asynchronous systems, queues and distributed workflows.
• Improve observability, monitoring and reliability.
• Collaborate with founders to implement AI-powered workflows.
• Adopt new AI development tools to boost productivity.
