Intuition Machines, a remote-first security AI company, seeks a Senior Backend Engineer focused on Security Automation to design and implement automation for SOC processes. You will help improve bot detection, fraud mitigation, phishing detection, and security operations at scale.

Key responsibilities include building automation services, collaborating with security analysts, and researching new technologies to strengthen defenses.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with microservice architectures.
• Strong understanding of programming best practices, design patterns, and testing methodologies.
• Experience writing secure code and applying OWASP security principles.
• Solid experience with SQL databases.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain automation tools and services that support core SOC operations, managing the full lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Streamline workflows and improve security efficiency using microservices, Kubernetes, Python, and message queues.
• Collaborate with security analysts and engineers to solve automation and operational challenges.
• Research emerging security and automation standards and identify new technologies to strengthen defenses and processes.
• Contribute to system reliability, observability, and scalability through thoughtful automation and design.
