Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering/backend experience.
• 5+ years Python, building production-grade backends.
• Strong Java experience.
• Hands-on AI/LLM development in production.
• Distributed systems and asynchronous processing expertise.
• Experience with databases, queues, and data pipelines.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Ownership mindset, autonomous in startup/fast-paced settings.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems with databases, APIs, queues, and data pipelines.
• Own features end-to-end from design to monitoring and optimization.
• Build production-ready systems with reliability and performance focus.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements.
• Improve system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
• Participate in architectural discussions and key technical decisions.
• Continuously improve development processes and tooling.
