Descripción de la vacante

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and maintain scalable backend services, automation workflows, and API integrations including Salesforce. You will build REST APIs and AI-driven features in an Agile environment, using Java or Python and focusing on scalable distributed systems.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in backend development, strong Java and Python experience, and hands-on AI/LLM-based project exposure.

Formación

8+ years of software engineering or backend development experience.
5+ years of professional Python experience in production-grade backend systems.
Strong experience with Java.
Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based application development or AI-driven features is highly preferred.
Experience building and maintaining distributed data processing pipelines and APIs.

Responsabilidades

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
Develop distributed systems involving databases, APIs, message queues, and data processing pipelines.
Take ownership of features from design to deployment and optimization.
Integrate with external APIs and enable AI-assisted development workflows.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
