Job summary

AgileEngine in Argentina seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure, and to manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes. You will work with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure, and drive AI-native development tooling across the stack.

Responsibilities include building scalable platform services, monitoring performance, improving security and efficiency, and communicating progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years API design and development (REST/gRPC).
• 2+ years AWS and Kubernetes, with service mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd, Cilium).
• 2+ years building architectural components (service registry, streaming, caching, polyglot persistence).
• 6+ months experience with LLMs, prompt engineering or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months SDLC AI-native usage via Claude tools.
• Excellent communication, learning fast, ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services to support growth.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance and bottlenecks.
• Manage cloud resources and service boundaries with security focus.
• Implement best practices and tools to improve development efficiency.
