Job summary

Softgic is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure, focusing on reliability, security, and cost efficiency. You will own CI/CD pipelines, IaC modules, and containerized deployments across multi-account environments.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong automation with Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, and Python, plus experience with data streaming stacks and observability tooling. You will mentor teammates and improve runbooks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Advanced AWS experience across multi-account environments.
• Proficient in Terraform with reusable modules and multi-env deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure.
• Manage containerized workloads using ECS/Fargate and autoscaling.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and Jenkins/Groovy pipelines.
• Operate and optimize streaming platforms and data infrastructure.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and proactive incident resolution.
• Continuously optimize AWS costs through right-sizing and architectural decisions.
• Automate operational processes with Python, Bash, and Lambda.
• Strengthen infrastructure security and CI/CD security controls.
• Own infrastructure projects end-to-end and document runbooks.
• Create clear technical documentation for first-level support.
• Manage changes via reviewed PRs on a single main branch.
• Use metrics and cost analysis to guide decisions and advise leadership.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining quality.
