Chevron Global Business Services in Buenos Aires is seeking a Data Engineer to join the IT Organization. The role focuses on building and maintaining automated data transformation pipelines using Azure.Data Factory, Databricks, Python and Java to support data architecture and analytics.

You will normalize and ingest data from multiple sources, enable data scientists with accessible data, and collaborate with ML engineers to deploy scalable solutions while following DevOps practices and CI/CD

Qualificações

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Data Engineer role.
• Experience with data acquisition, preparation, validation, movement and transformation; analytics solution architecture; big data computing; cloud computing; core data architecture; information security tech.

Responsabilidades

• Understand business use of data and stakeholder requirements.
• Leverage data, software engineering, and data science techniques to create business value through data accessibility.
• Identify, acquire, cleanse & prepare, store data and develop data products aligned with defined architecture patterns.
• Normalize and ingest data from multiple sources.
• Enable data scientists, making data available for advanced analytics models.
• Work with ML Engineer to scale and deploy solutions including model, documentation, training, integration.
• Contribute to inner source development of foundational tools and deployment of technical services.
