Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to shape automation strategy for a large-scale game development lifecycle. You will lead a small technical QA team, expand automated coverage, and collaborate with engineers to resolve complex issues.

The role requires 3+ years in software testing and 2+ years in automated testing, with strong C++ and hands-on experience in Appium, Selenium, and JUnit. English at B2 level is preferred. A dynamic, international team awaits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software testing experience.
• 2+ years hands-on automation testing and/or scripting.
• Strong C++ proficiency for test automation and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy and plans across the development lifecycle.
• Lead automation direction and prioritize objectives to meet quality goals.
• Build and extend automated test suites using existing frameworks and tooling.
• Maintain and improve test automation framework for scalability and reliability.
• Execute and oversee regression cycles including targeted manual playthroughs.
• Drive defect triage and collaborate with engineers to resolve critical issues.
• Align with production and engineering on technical requirements and quality risks.
• Communicate findings clearly to keep delivery on track.
• Coach and mentor a small QA team on tools, standards, and best practices.
