HCLTech in Buenos Aires is seeking an experienced AS/400 (iSeries) System Administrator - L2 to manage and support IBM i environments within a 24x7 enterprise infrastructure. The role involves administration, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, backup and recovery management, security administration, high availability support, and system maintenance activities.

• 5–10 years of AS/400/iSeries system administration experience.
• Experience supporting 24x7 enterprise environments.
• Strong trouble-shooting, incident management, and performance monitoring skills.

Responsabilidades

• System Administration & Performance Management: respond to escalated incidents, monitor and optimize performance, health checks, reports.
• User and Security Administration: manage user profiles, access issues, SSL certificates and SSH config.
• Backup, Recovery & BRMS Administration: ensure daily/weekly/monthly backups, restore testing, DR support.
• Storage & Tape Library Administration: manage storage, disks reclamation, tape libraries and media.
• Job Management & Operations Support: configure jobs with scheduler, manage queues, coordinate with teams.
• Printer & Output Management: manage printer sessions, output queues, spool issues.
• HA/DR & System Maintenance: administer HA/DR environments, DR drills, apply PTFs.
• Vendor & Technical Support: liaise with hardware/software vendors, mentor L1 teams.
• Work Environment: 24x7 shifts, on-call, production incidents handling.
