AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to architect and build automated security layers within the SDLC, focusing on AI-enabled secure code scanning and CI/CD security tooling across a large financial services program. You’ll work primarily in Python to create runbooks, deploy scanners, and provide code-level remediation guidance with minimal supervision.

AppSec and DevSecOps experience are strongly preferred; SAST/DAST/SCA and Java expertise are a plus, with

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on Application Security and DevSecOps.
• Strong coding and architectural proficiency in Python for security automation and scripting.
• Fully autonomous execution capability, mapping out and building automated security runbooks with minimal supervision.
• Upper-intermediate English level for collaborating with global teams.

Responsabilidades

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and Golden Images to drive secure-from-the-start adoption.
• Automate the development of secure coding patterns and integrate them with SDLC workflows.
• Architect integration of SAST/DAST/SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines and tune to reduce noise.
• Read and review complex Java/Python code to provide precise, code-level remediation guidance.
