AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to architect and build automated security layers within the SDLC, leveraging Python to deploy and tune security runbooks, and provide code-level remediation guidance to development teams.

You will work with AppSec and DevSecOps practices, with SAST/DAST/SCA expertise and Java/Python code review, in a fully remote environment supporting global teams.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on Application Security/DevSecOps.
• Strong Python coding and architectural skills for security automation.
• Autonomous, self-directed work with minimal supervision.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Engineer and develop automated security runbooks and AI-enabled secure code scanning.
• Architect and integrate continuous security scanning tools (SAST/DAST/SCA) into enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Review complex Java/Python code to provide precise, code-level remediation guidance to developers.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure secure-by-design software delivery.
