Avatria, a leading Digital Commerce and Content solutions provider, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join the Services team and ensure the quality, reliability and performance of Commerce and Content systems for our customers. This is a full-time, on-site role.

You will design and maintain automated test suites, perform thorough manual testing, and collaborate with product and development teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

The Role

Avatria, a leading Digital Commerce and Content solutions provider, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join the Services team.

Full-time.

100% On-site.

About the Role

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of Commerce and Content systems for our customers. This involves designing and executing manual test cases, as well as developing and maintaining automated test suites. You are an ideal candidate if you are passionate about quality assurance, test automation, problem-solving and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

We want someone that can:

• Perform thorough manual testing (functional, regression and smoke) and accurately document test results and test coverage metrics
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks
• Accurately identify, log, prioritize, and track defects to provide clear and concise reports to the development team
• Work closely and proactively with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and embed quality practices throughout the SDLC

Must have:

• Professional experience in software quality assurance for enterprise-level applications
• Proficient with test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
• Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman or REST
• Experience with responsive and native mobile application testing (iOS and Android)
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM) for planning and tracking
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have:

• Strong understanding of the entire SDLC and methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for test execution
• Knowledge of database querying (SQL) for data validation in back-end testing
• Experience in the Digital Commerce or Content Management domain
• Experience with Commerce platforms such as SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, commercetools and BigCommerce
• Experience with Content Management platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful and Builder.io

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks. Create and execute automated tests for web applications, mobile applications, and APIs. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and QA Engineers to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and automation coverage. Perform code reviews and promote best practices for test automation, maintainability, and quality. Analyze automated test results, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with technical teams to drive defects through resolution. Continuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, stability, and reliability. Mentor and support junior QA Engineers in automation tools, frameworks, and best practices.
