GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is hiring for a Mobile Engineering QA role. You will execute mobile testing strategies with ~80% automation and ~20% manual testing, using Python and popular mobile tools to build reliable test suites for international markets.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with developers and DevOps, and focus on high coverage and release readiness in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience with Android test automation and Android Studio.
• Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, or UI Automator.
• Experience with manual testing.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Description

Join the Mobile Engineering team delivering safety-critical, regulated mobile software for diabetes care. You will focus on product quality and reliability for international markets, with domain onboarding provided to accelerate your impact. Framework development is out of scope for this role; you will use and configure the existing internal framework to achieve high coverage and reliable automation.

Execute mobile testing strategies, with an approximate 80% focus on automated testing and 20% on manual testing. Develop and maintain automated tests using Python and mobile test automation tools, and support their integration into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience with Android test automation and Android Studio.
• Experience with a mobile automation framework such as Appium, Espresso, or UI Automator.
• Practical experience with manual testing.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Swift or iOS test automation experience.
• Hands-on experience configuring or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
