EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Android Engineer in Argentina to advance Android mobile experiences at global scale. You will partner with designers, product, QA, and engineers to ship improvements quickly and thoughtfully.

You will design Android solutions, build and improve features with a strong focus on user experience and code quality, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to align on scope and delivery. Expect ownership, autonomy, and a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of Android development shipping production apps.
• 3+ years of Kotlin experience in professional projects.
• Strong collaboration skills across design, product, QA.

Responsabilidades

• Design Android solutions for open-ended product and technical problems.
• Build and improve Android features with focus on UX and code quality.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, QA, and engineers to align scope and delivery.
• Profile and optimize app performance for responsiveness.
• Debug and fix defects by root-cause analysis and durable fixes.
• Refactor legacy code to keep releases safe and predictable.
• Implement asynchronous workflows using standard Android concurrency patterns.
• Write unit and integration tests to protect critical behavior.
• Integrate mobile clients with backend services and evolve API usage.
• Maintain build and CI pipelines to keep delivery fast and reliable.

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to help us evolve Android mobile experiences used at global scale, focusing on reliability, performance, and a polished user experience. You will partner with designers, product, QA, and engineers to ship improvements quickly and thoughtfully.

Responsibilities

• Design Android solutions for open-ended product and technical problems
• Build and improve Android features with a strong focus on user experience and code quality
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, QA, and engineers to align on scope and delivery
• Optimize app performance through profiling, analysis, and targeted improvements
• Debug and fix defects by identifying root causes and validating stable resolutions
• Refactor and modernize legacy code while keeping releases safe and predictable
• Implement asynchronous workflows using established Android concurrency approaches
• Write unit and integration tests to protect critical behavior and prevent regressions
• Integrate mobile clients with backend services and evolve API usage as needed
• Maintain build and CI pipelines to keep delivery fast, reliable, and repeatable

Requirements

• 3+ years of Android development experience shipping production apps
• 3+ years of Kotlin experience in professional projects
• Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional teams with design, product, and QA
• Proven ownership skills to drive work independently and share ideas proactively
• Modern development methodology knowledge for iterative delivery in ambiguous problem spaces
• Solid debugging skills for triaging issues and delivering durable fixes
• Performance optimization skills for profiling and improving app responsiveness
• Asynchronous programming knowledge using established concurrency patterns on Android
• Testing experience with unit and integration test practices
• Legacy code experience maintaining, refactoring, and improving existing systems
• Time management skills with a self-starting approach in a fast-paced environment
• English language proficiency: B2 Upper-Intermediate

• Dagger experience for dependency injection
• Jetpack Compose experience for modern UI development
