Western Union in Buenos Aires (CABA) is seeking a QA professional to design, execute, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies across multiple platforms. As a key member of Western Union’s Quality Assurance team based in Buenos Aires (CABA), this role acts as a critical contributor in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable software solutions. The position is responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, supporting automation initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards across applications, systems, and platforms within the Quality Assurance function.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery across multiple platforms
• Participate in end-to-end testing activities, including functional, system, integration, network, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Design, implement, and enhance automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency, scalability, and test coverage
• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure alignment on quality objectives
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and root cause analysis
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance overall product quality
• Support release cycles by validating builds, performing regression testing, and ensuring readiness for production deployment
• Analyze test results and provide clear reporting and insights on quality metrics, risks, and improvement opportunities

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or related IT roles, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies
• Proven experience in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management across different testing types
• Hands‑on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, with the ability to design and maintain scalable solutions
• Knowledge of application, system, integration, and user acceptance testing within complex technology environments
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
• Experience working in Agile or fast‑paced development environments, collaborating with cross‑functional teams
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly document findings and convey quality‑related insights
• Intermediate English proficiency, both verbal and written (desirable)

Work Shift
