Job summary

Arionkoder is seeking a Software Architect in Cordoba, Argentina to define a target-state design for an FDA-regulated SaaS product. You will audit the legacy monolith, craft a bounded context-based roadmap, and design a resilient data pipeline while ensuring backward compatibility and regulatory compliance.

You will lead architectural discussions, mentor remote engineers, and improve CI/CD and release processes to support fast, secure software delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven success as Lead Software Architect, Principal Engineer, or senior technical leader.
• Strong software fundamentals with SOLID and GRASP principles and modern architecture patterns.
• Experience with layered architectures and Domain-Driven Design, Anti-Corruption Layer or Hexagonal architectures.
• Experience designing SaMD solutions compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Proven API, data model, and integration layer design in multi-language systems.
• Experience remediating technical debt and driving large-scale refactors.
• Improving CI/CD, security, auditability, and resilience in private clouds.
• Excellent communication and mentorship of remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess current architecture, data flows, and debt to identify scalability constraints.
• Define target-state architecture with bounded contexts aligned to DDD and clean architecture.
• Design denormalized storage to optimize read-heavy queries with trade-offs.
• Develop phased roadmap for modernizing legacy components while preserving backward compatibility.
• Establish engineering standards and decision frameworks for maintainability.
• Improve development workflows, CI/CD, testing, and release processes.
• Mentor team through design reviews and documentation for future maintenance.
