Job summary

Wiset is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to join a fast-growing tech team building AI-native products. You will defensively secure AI integrations, models, and workflows, with emphasis on AppSec, cloud security, and automation within CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and infra teams to mitigate AI-related risks, implement guardrails, and stay ahead of evolving attack vectors in AI systems and LLM-powered features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• Strong AppSec background: secure code review, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, secrets management.
• Experience conducting threat modeling or security architecture reviews.
• Solid understanding of OAuth, IAM, and least privilege design patterns.
• Ability to read code and write scripts, ideally in Python.
• Cloud Security experience (GCP preferred).
• Advanced English — written and spoken.
• Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina — Mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Review AI architectures and integrations end to end — LLMs, AI agents, tool chains, APIs, and external connectors — identifying security risks before they reach production.
• Lead threat modeling sessions and security architecture reviews across the stack.
• Design, implement, and automate security checks and controls for AI systems, including input/output validation, guardrails, and runtime monitoring.
• Research and stay current on AI-specific attack vectors and translate findings into actionable mitigations.
• Enforce OAuth, IAM policies, and least privilege principles across cloud and AI integrations.
• Build and maintain security automation pipelines integrated into CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with developers on secure coding practices and security requirements for AI features.
• Contribute to internal security documentation, policies, and awareness.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior AI Security Engineer to join a high-growth technology team building AI-native products. This is not an offensive security role — we are looking for a defensive security engineer with a strong AppSec background (70%) and cloud security experience (30%), who is excited about applying their skills to the fast-evolving world of AI systems, LLMs, and autonomous agents.

You will be embedded in an engineering organization where AI is at the core of the product, working closely with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to ensure that every AI integration, agent workflow, and LLM-powered feature is designed and deployed securely.

Key Responsibilities

Review AI architectures and integrations end to end — LLMs, AI agents, tool chains, APIs, and external connectors — identifying security risks before they reach production

Lead threat modeling sessions and security architecture reviews across the stack

Design, implement, and automate security checks and controls for AI systems, including input/output validation, guardrails, and runtime monitoring

Research and stay current on AI-specific attack vectors — prompt injection, model abuse, data exfiltration, jailbreaking — and translate findings into actionable mitigations

Enforce OAuth, IAM policies, and least privilege principles across cloud and AI integrations

Build and maintain security automation pipelines integrated into CI/CD workflows

Collaborate with developers on secure coding practices and security requirements for AI features

Contribute to internal security documentation, policies, and awareness

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity — excluyente
