Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking an Application Security Analyst (AI Training) to evaluate security scenarios across code, APIs, and live systems. You will help AI models learn to assess and remediate software risk with practical reasoning. Remote freelance role with 10-40 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in security roles, strong OWASP knowledge, and excellent written communication for clear security reasoning. You’ll work independently on async, task-based assignments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in application security, product security, or software security.
• Solid working knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and common production vulnerabilities.
• Able to evaluate real-world exploitability, not just theoretical exposure.
• Strong written communication skills - explain security reasoning clearly and concisely.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on async, task-based assignments.

As an Application Security Analyst, you'll work with realistic security scenarios drawn from code, APIs, and live systems to help frontier AI models learn how to assess, prioritize, and remediate risk the way an expert would. Your hands-on security knowledge directly shapes how the next generation of AI reasons about application vulnerabilities.

This is a remote, flexible contract role that fits around your existing schedule.

What You'll Do

• Analyze real-world application security scenarios spanning code, APIs, and system behavior
• Classify and evaluate vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, and business logic issues
