Darwoft is a LATAM technology company hiring a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for an AI-native, remote-first role. You will work on a modern transaction platform for M&A workflows, integrating AI coding agents deeply into development.

The ideal candidate combines strong software fundamentals with pragmatic architectural decisions and a builder mindset. You’ll navigate a large codebase, design capabilities, and improve reliability while leveraging AI agents to accelerate delivery and maintain

Formación

• Proven experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, system design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full-stack engineering with modern languages and frameworks.
• Experience with web apps and SaaS products.
• Strong understanding of APIs, architecture, integrations, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases and production data environments.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production operations.
• Ability to reason about trade-offs and make pragmatic architectural decisions.
• Strong ownership and ability to work independently in evolving product environments.
• Product mindset: understand not only how to build, but why.

Responsabilidades

• Navigate and evolve a large existing production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify debt, risks, reliability issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, and similar AI agents throughout the lifecycle.
• Leverage AI agents to explore codebases, design implementations, generate and refactor production code.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the application stack when needed.
• Strengthen automated testing, observability, reliability, and production readiness.
• Improve development workflows, tooling, automation, and engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
• Balance speed with software quality and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate problems into technical solutions.
• Help the team achieve greater development leverage through AI-assisted engineering.
