Blend, a premier AI services provider, seeks a Lead AI Engineer to drive growth and expansion. You will lead end-to-end AI projects, mentor a high-performing team, and shape technical strategy across RAG, LLM-powered systems, and production deployment.

The role emphasizes strong Python, ML/LLMOps expertise, and collaboration with senior stakeholders; remote-friendly LATAM programs and flexible work options are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on AI/ML engineering in production environments.
• Advanced English for global collaboration and client leadership.
• Experience leading or mentoring teams (2+ years).
• Proven ability to design and evaluate end-to-end AI systems.
• Strong knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps tooling and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery with governance and stakeholder alignment.
• Build and mentor a high-performing AI engineering team; set quality standards.
• Own proposals and new business initiatives; communicate risks to clients.
• Define AI system boundaries and manage expectations on limitations.
• Design scalable MLOps pipelines and production-ready inference infra.
• Oversee design of RAG/LLM-based solutions and prompt engineering.
• Lead experiments, evaluation metrics, and ensure reliability of deployments.
