Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior AI Engineer specializing in LLMs and agentic architectures to design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI agents that integrate into business ecosystems. You will act as a subject matter expert on the latest generative AI advancements, establishing evaluation pipelines and optimizing prompt engineering, RAG, and tool connections for accuracy, speed, and cost efficiency.

This remote, contractor role requires 5+ years in software engineering with 1-2 years building

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 1–2 years in production AI/ML apps.
• Expertise in Python and core LLM APIs/frameworks (OpenAI SDK, Google AI SDK, LangChain).
• Proven record building agentic workflows using RAG, vector DBs, memory management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy stateful, scalable AI agents.
• Connect agents with diverse data sources and external APIs.
• Develop evaluation pipelines to monitor accuracy, speed, and cost.
• Apply prompt engineering and custom tooling for grounded performance.
• Guide technical decisions on agentic lifecycle and architecture.
