Telnyx is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI Enablement team and build the services that allow AI agents to interact with the real world. You will develop and maintain agent primitives for meetings, web browsing, email, payments, and related capabilities, enabling agents to operate securely and reliably.

This role blends product engineering, platform design, and applied AI. You will ensure production services are predictable, safe with external systems, and expose clear interfaces

Formación

• Strong software engineering experience with ownership of production systems.
• Comfort working with LLMs, AI agents, tool calling, and agent orchestration.
• Good judgment around reliability, security, permissions, and external side effects.
• Ability to work through ambiguous problems and deliver maintainable products.
• Clear communication and hands-on engineering approach.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate production services for AI agents.
• Develop reusable primitives for meetings, browsing, search, email, payments, and adjacent capabilities.
• Define reliable interfaces and workflows for agent tool use.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn new agent use cases into practical services.
• Improve safety, observability, testing, and reliability across the platform.
• Shape architecture and direction of the agent enablement platform.
