Role Overview

We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) senior accounting professional to assist with accounting operations. This is a full-time role, initially on a month-to-month contract with the option to convert to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform GAAP-compliant expense accruals, revenue recognition, and fixed assets for the monthly closing
• Perform revenue recognition, including revenue from student tuition and fees, service revenue collected from partner universities, income from rent and administrative services
• Perform expense and Accounts Payable accruals
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation; account reclassifications
• Identify system improvements and assist with process optimization initiatives
• Over time, assist with ERP data migration
• Report to the VP of Finance

Candidate Requirements

• Accounting Manager / Controller level (CPA not required, strong GAAP knowledge mandatory)
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Systems thinking and process improvement skills; Dynamics F&O knowledge a plus
• Strong communication and analytical skills
